A Bangladeshi taxi driver working in Sharjah has become an overnight millionaire after winning Dh20 million in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi September draw.

The lucky winner, Harun Sarder Nur Nobi Sarder, purchased the winning ticket along with 10 friends and plans to share the massive prize equally among them.

Harun, who has been living in the UAE since 2009, said he has been regularly buying tickets for years, hoping for a life-changing moment and his patience finally paid off.

Other participants in the draw also won significant prizes, including cash rewards and a luxury car. Organizers announced that the next Big Ticket draw will feature an even larger jackpot of Dh25 million, along with gold bars for lucky winners.

The story has quickly gone viral across the Gulf, symbolizing how perseverance and teamwork can lead to extraordinary fortune.
