eshawar: Shahpur Police have successfully solved the blind murder case of tailor master Israr Gul, arresting the prime suspect and his accomplice involved in the crime.
According to the spokesperson for Capital City Police Peshawar, SHO Shahpur Imran Khan, along with his investigation team, carried out a successful operation using modern forensic techniques and technical data analysis.
The main accused, Aamir (son of Safdar), and his accomplice, Ghareeb Jan alias Ghareebo (son of Amir Syed), residents of Akbarpura, were taken into custody.
On the indication of the arrested prime suspect, police also recovered the murder weapon (a pistol) and the mobile phone belonging to the deceased.
The murder took place on October 6, 2025, in the jurisdiction of Shahpur Police Station at Budhni Tapu Sefan Ghara, where Israr Gul (son of Deedar Gul) was shot dead.
A case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, Abrar Gul, and a detailed investigation was launched.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the main suspect, Aamir, was previously a student of the deceased tailor.
Police traced the suspects through forensic evidence, mobile data analysis, and other technical tools.
During the initial interrogation, the main accused confessed to the crime. Further investigation from both arrested individuals is currently underway.
