Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, has lauded the role of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal in cancer prevention, calling it commendable.
Speaking at a seminar organized by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Dr. Fazal emphasized that it is the state’s responsibility to provide basic necessities such as education and healthcare, and that the government is taking all possible measures in this regard.
He expressed appreciation for the organization of the seminar focused on preventing deadly diseases like cancer, stating that halting the spread of such illnesses and ensuring treatment for affected individuals is a shared responsibility.
The minister highlighted the painful reality faced by individuals battling life-threatening diseases without the financial means for treatment, describing it as a deeply distressing situation.
Dr. Fazal further stated that their leader, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, established Bait-ul-Mal with the vision of supporting the lower and middle classes by providing healthcare and other essential services. He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working tirelessly to realize Nawaz Sharif’s vision of transforming Pakistan into a welfare state.
He expressed satisfaction that Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal is delivering quality services in remote areas of the country according to available resources. Dr. Fazal concluded with confidence that the government will continue to strengthen the organization, benefiting workers, students, and people from all walks of life.
