A salon owner has been booked for allegedly assaulting and sexually abusing a female employee in Rawalpindi, police said.
According to police, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of Saddar Wah Cantonment police station in the Kohistan Enclave area. A case has been registered following the complaint filed by the victim, who works at a local men’s salon.
In her statement, the complainant alleged that the salon owner sent other staff members away on errands before forcing her into a room, where he subjected her to physical violence and sexual assault. She further stated that the suspect threatened her with serious consequences before leaving her near her residence.
Police officials confirmed that an investigation is underway and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
