RAWALPINDI: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Rawalpindi has arrested a suspect involved in the harassment and blackmail of a woman through explicit videos.
According to the agency, the suspect, identified as Muhammad Ali Asad, son of Ahmad Khan, allegedly uploaded the victim’s videos to an adult website with the intent to defame and blackmail her.
Officials said that the suspect’s mobile phone has been seized and sent for forensic analysis. A case has been registered under FIR No. 193/2025 in accordance with Section 21 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
The NCCIA spokesperson stated that digital evidence has been forwarded to the forensic laboratory for detailed examination, while further investigation is underway to identify any possible accomplices.
