Delegation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association Meets Federal Health Minister

A delegation from the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) met with Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal to discuss key issues related to local pharmaceutical production, export opportunities, and reforms in drug regulations.

‎During the meeting, discussions were also held on bilateral trade agreements with Afghanistan and the local production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The Health Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring domestic production of APIs to help save valuable foreign exchange.

‎‎Mustafa Kamal highlighted the immense potential of Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry and said that the government is taking effective measures to boost the sector’s exports.
