Dengue Cases Increase Across Sindh, 170 New Cases Reported; 16 New Patients Admitted to Karachi Division’s Public Hospitals

Dengue cases are on the rise across the province, including Karachi. According to media reports, the data released by the Director General Health Sindh states that 170 new dengue cases have been reported in Sindh.

‎A total of 26 patients were admitted to government hospitals across the province and 29 new patients were admitted to private hospitals, bringing the total number of hospitalized patients to 49. In the Karachi division, 16 new patients were admitted to government hospitals, while 7 new patients were admitted in Hyderabad.

‎According to the report, 38 patients in government hospitals and 25 in private hospitals recovered and were discharged. No dengue-related deaths have been reported in Sindh today. A total of 2,151 individuals were tested in government and private laboratories.
