In Rawalpindi, 17 new dengue patients have been reported during the last 24 hours.
According to details, a total of 10,816 dengue tests have been conducted in Rawalpindi, out of which 656 have been confirmed positive.
So far this year, no dengue-related deaths have been reported, while 61 confirmed dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals.
The Health Department stated that the number of dengue surveillance teams is 1,499. So far, 5,316,568 houses have been inspected, and 157,073 houses were found dengue positive.
A total of 1,426,111 spot checks were carried out, out of which 21,021 were found positive. Larvae were found at 178,094 locations, which were subsequently destroyed.
Furthermore, 4,265 FIRs were registered, 1,813 buildings were sealed, and 3,415 challans were issued for violating dengue SOPs. A fine of Rs. 10.56 million was imposed for the presence of dengue larvae.
Dengue larvae and patients were found in Dhoke Mangtal, Dhoke Babu Irfan, Kountrilla, Pindora, and Dhamial. In addition, larvae and dengue cases were also detected in Kotha Kalan, Hazara Colony, Chak Jalal Din, and Ward 2 Wah Cantt.
