Dengue situation becomes alarming across Punjab with 24 confirmed cases reported in the last 24 hours

The dengue situation in Punjab, including Lahore, is becoming alarming as 24 more confirmed cases have been reported across the province during the last 24 hours.

‎According to the Health Department, 4 new dengue patients have been reported in the provincial capital Lahore within the past 24 hours. The total number of confirmed dengue patients in the province has reached 4,093, while the number of confirmed patients in Lahore has increased to 749.

‎The number of suspected dengue patients in Lahore is also rising rapidly, and there are concerns that dengue cases in the city may increase to a dangerous level this year.

‎The Health Department has instructed citizens to strictly follow precautionary measures, advising them not to allow water to accumulate and to ensure cleanliness in homes, offices, and neighbourhoods.
