Former Australian cricketer Michael Slater has had his lifetime membership terminated following a domestic violence case.
According to Australian media, New South Wales Cricket has withdrawn both his lifetime membership and his Hall of Fame honor. Reports state that after the domestic violence case surfaced, a vote was held during the NSW general meeting, where it was decided that Slater would no longer remain a life member.
It is worth noting that Michael Slater was convicted in a domestic violence case in 2022, where he was found guilty on seven different charges.
He had been inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015 and was awarded lifetime membership in 2016.
