BAHAWALPUR: A tragic incident unfolded in Bahawalpur where a father and son allegedly killed a young woman on the day of her wedding.
According to police, the incident took place in Basti Sakheel, where the accused reportedly subjected the woman to severe violence before killing her and dumping the body in nearby fields.
Investigators stated that the victim had been raised by her paternal aunt since childhood. A day before the incident, her father had taken her back to his home. Police said the father and son were displeased with the marriage, which is believed to have led to the killing.
A case has been registered, and police have launched a search for the suspects.
