KARACHI — In connection with Youm-e-Takbeer on May 28, Pakistan Quiz Society, in collaboration with the National Youth Assembly and Federal Urdu University, organized an All-Karachi Inter-University Quiz Competition at the Dr. Abdul Qadeer Auditorium.

A total of 14 teams from various universities across the city participated in the event. After competing through three challenging rounds, the team from Federal Urdu University emerged victorious, securing the first position—an achievement that brought pride to the institution.

The closing ceremony was graced by Registrar Dr. Saadia Khalil, Dean Faculty of Science Dr. Zahid, Chairman Pakistan Quiz Society Hafiz Muhammad Naseem, and other notable guests. They addressed the students, appreciated their intellectual abilities, and distributed prizes among the winning teams.

In a heartfelt tribute, Dr. Saadia Khalil, along with the audience, honored the late Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan—renowned as the father of Pakistan’s nuclear program—with a standing ovation. The tribute recognized his invaluable contribution in making Pakistan a formidable nuclear power on the world stage.

The event not only celebrated academic excellence but also served as a patriotic reminder of the nation’s scientific legacy.
