Fire Erupts at Punjab Institute of Cardiology Doctors’ Hostel, Doctor Injured

A fire broke out at the hostel of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, leaving one doctor injured due to burns.

‎According to rescue officials, emergency teams swiftly brought the blaze under control, and cooling efforts are underway.

‎The injured doctor was given first aid and later shifted to the burn unit of Services Hospital.

‎Medical Superintendent Aamir Rafiq Butt stated that a hospital employee, Haris, was also affected by the fire and is currently under treatment at the burn unit. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
