A fire broke out at the hostel of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, leaving one doctor injured due to burns.
According to rescue officials, emergency teams swiftly brought the blaze under control, and cooling efforts are underway.
The injured doctor was given first aid and later shifted to the burn unit of Services Hospital.
Medical Superintendent Aamir Rafiq Butt stated that a hospital employee, Haris, was also affected by the fire and is currently under treatment at the burn unit. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
