Karachi has reported its first dengue-related death of the year.
According to the Sindh Health Department, a 48-year-old woman from Karachi’s East District passed away due to dengue. She was admitted to a private hospital on July 23 and was also suffering from diabetes and other health issues.
Health officials confirmed that over 300 people have been infected with dengue in Karachi so far this year.
