First dengue death of the year reported in Karachi

Karachi has reported its first dengue-related death of the year.

‎According to the Sindh Health Department, a 48-year-old woman from Karachi’s East District passed away due to dengue. She was admitted to a private hospital on July 23 and was also suffering from diabetes and other health issues.

‎Health officials confirmed that over 300 people have been infected with dengue in Karachi so far this year.
