The Department of Thoracic Surgery, King Edward Medical University / Mayo Hospital Lahore is organizing the First International Minimally Invasive Chest Wall Surgery Conference.
The patron in chief of this historic conference is Professor Mahmood Ayaz, Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University, under whose patronage this academic activity is being held. The course director of the conference is Professor Syed Muhammad Raza Naqvi, whose leadership and guidance have provided a strong academic foundation for the program.
Renowned and internationally recognized chest wall surgeon Professor Wenlin Wang will participate in the conference. He is the founder of minimally invasive chest wall surgery and a globally acknowledged expert in the field. The conference will include lectures, hands on workshops, and live surgeries, featuring advanced surgical techniques for pectus deformities, chest wall masses, and rib fixations.
The objective of the conference is to promote advanced chest wall surgery in Pakistan, provide young surgeons with training of international standards, and ensure patients’ access to modern and safe treatment facilities.
