LAHORE – Police arrested four suspects within three hours for allegedly gang-raping an 18-year-old girl in the Muhafiz Town area, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to police, the main suspect, Mohsin, lured the victim, Fatima, to the rooftop of a building in Muhafiz Town, where he and three accomplices sexually assaulted her. During the incident, one of the accused, Shafiq, also filmed the act and physically assaulted the victim.
SP Model Town Ikhlaqullah Tarar personally supervised the investigation. A case has been registered at Kahna Police Station under Section 375A of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The SP said the arrested suspects have been identified as Mohsin, Shafiq, Javed, and Zeeshan. He added that individuals involved in such heinous crimes will face the law with no leniency.
