The University of Gwadar held an impressive orientation session for newly admitted students at the Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute’s (PCTVI) Mir Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri Auditorium. The event was presided over by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, who emphasized that “quality education is the key to a bright future.”
Addressing the newcomers, Dr. Ahmed congratulated them on beginning their higher education journey, stating that university life is not merely about earning a degree but about becoming skilled, responsible, and capable individuals. He reiterated the university’s commitment to providing quality education and holistic student development.
Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, gave a detailed presentation on the university’s academic system, examination structure, scholarship opportunities, and facilities. Meanwhile, Dr. Mohibullah, Dean of the Faculty of Science, urged students to embrace knowledge, research, and critical thinking.
The ceremony was attended by Controller of Examinations Professor Dr. Raheem Mehr, ORIC Director Dr. Muhammad Irshad, faculty members, students, parents, and administrative officers. Director Student Affairs Farooq Haider served as the stage secretary and thanked all speakers and participants for making the event a success.
