The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest player rankings. In Test batting, England’s Joe Root continues to hold the No.1 position. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has moved up one place to 9th, while New Zealand’s Devon Conway has jumped seven spots to reach 34th.
In the Test bowlers’ rankings, India’s Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top, with Australia’s Mitchell Starc climbing from third to second place. New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy made a significant leap, rising 15 positions to 48th.
Among Test all-rounders, India’s Ravindra Jadeja continues to lead the rankings.
T20 Rankings
In the T20 batters’ rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma has retained the top position, while Tilak Varma has moved up two places to fourth. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan slipped one spot to sixth. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert improved by two places to ninth.
South Africa’s Dewald Brevis dropped seven places to 15th, whereas Aiden Markram climbed eight spots to 29th. Pakistan’s Babar Azam slipped one position to 31st.
In the T20 bowlers’ rankings, India’s Varun Chakravarthy has further strengthened his hold on the No.1 spot. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is placed fourth. India’s Arshdeep Singh moved up four places to 16th, while South Africa’s Marco Jansen climbed 14 positions to 25th.
In the T20 all-rounders’ rankings, Pakistan’s Saim Ayub continues to occupy the No.1 position, with Mohammad Nawaz holding steady at fifth. India’s Shivam Dube rose four places to 16th.
