Dengue cases are continuously increasing in Sindh, prompting health authorities to issue an emergency warning.

‎A rapid increase in dengue cases is being observed across Sindh, after which health officials have alerted the public. According to a report by the Director General Health Sindh, 50 new patients were admitted to government hospitals, while 33 patients received treatment in private hospitals.

‎In the Karachi division, 16 new patients were admitted, while 22 new cases were reported in government hospitals in Hyderabad. During the last 24 hours, 63 patients recovered and were discharged from government hospitals, while 44 patients recovered in private hospitals. Fortunately, no dengue related deaths have been reported in the province so far.

‎Testing is being carried out rapidly, and a total of 5,070 individuals were tested in government and private laboratories. Out of these, 559 individuals tested positive, with the highest number of cases reported in Karachi at 347, followed by Hyderabad with 212.

‎The Director General Health Sindh urged citizens to take precautionary measures seriously. People have been advised to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings, eliminate stagnant water, avoid mosquito infested areas, and seek immediate medical attention if symptoms such as fever, headache, or joint pain appear.

‎Officials said that community cooperation is essential to control the spread of dengue. Health experts warned that due to the continuous rise in cases, timely precautions by the public and local administration are crucial to prevent a major outbreak.
