The inquiry report regarding the death of a mother and child at Mithi Civil Hospital has been released.
According to the inquiry report issued from Tharparkar, the on call doctor did not arrive despite the patient’s deteriorating condition.
The report states that treatment was delayed despite the presence of infection. The patient was kept in the labor room instead of the operation theater.
According to the District Health Officer, shortcomings were identified during treatment. The report has been sent to the Director General Health for legal action.
