Peshawar — In the wake of the suicide attack at Islamabad’s district court, security across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been placed on high alert. Police and law enforcement agencies have intensified patrols, especially around government buildings, courts, and other sensitive installations.
According to official sources, all district police officers have been instructed to remain vigilant and enhance security at public places, entry points, and judicial complexes.
Special security units have been deployed in major cities including Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, and Dera Ismail Khan to ensure law and order. Authorities have also urged citizens to report any suspicious activity immediately to local police.
Officials said that the heightened alert is a precautionary measure to prevent any possible follow-up attacks or security breaches.
