Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has denied rumours of undergoing a cosmetic procedure called “Buffalooplasty,” clarifying that all such claims circulating on social media are completely false. She stressed that she has not gone through any such surgery and urged people not to believe baseless online gossip.
During a talk show, Janhvi revealed that some YouTubers who claim to be doctors analyzed her facial features and alleged that she had undergone this surgery. She called these statements “fabricated stories” made only to gain attention and views.
Buffalooplasty, also known as a “Bullhorn Lip Lift,” is a cosmetic procedure that slightly reduces the space between the nose and upper lip to make the lips appear naturally fuller.
Expressing concern over such rumours, Janhvi said these false claims can negatively impact young girls. “If a teenage girl starts believing these rumours and tries unsafe beauty procedures, it could be very dangerous,” she warned.
She emphasized the need for awareness about beauty treatments so people can protect themselves from misleading social media content and avoid unnecessary surgeries just because someone links them to a celebrity.
