Two out of five newborn babies, born on Monday in the Baldia area of Karachi, passed away during treatment, according to the families. The grief-stricken parents said that two of the infants could not survive despite efforts by the medical staff.

‎Hospital administration confirmed that all five babies were experiencing breathing difficulties at birth and were immediately provided with oxygen support. Doctors stated that the babies were born prematurely, which resulted in critically low birth weights.

‎The hospital further informed that initial laboratory tests were also conducted to assess the babies’ health conditions.
