Kasur: Acting on the special directives of DPO Muhammad Essa Khan, the B-Division Police led by SHO Muhammad Aslam Bhatti conducted a major operation, arresting seven suspects involved in narcotics and liquor smuggling.
According to police sources, the suspects were found in possession of white crystal heroin worth approximately Rs10 million, a modern drone valued at Rs5 million, and 14 batteries worth Rs2.8 million.
Three drug smugglers — identified as Ramzan alias Jani, Irfan of Rohiwal, and Ayaz of Model Town Lahore — were arrested near the bypass during a special blockade. The suspects are said to be notorious smugglers supplying narcotics to border regions. Separate cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act.
In the same operation, police also arrested four liquor sellers — Irfan, Latif, Shadab, and Shahzaib — recovering 95 bottles of imported liquor. Separate cases have also been lodged against them.
