Defence and Aviation Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif announced significant good news for Pakistani citizens planning travel to the United Kingdom. He revealed that the long-standing ban on Pakistani airlines flying to the UK has been lifted, allowing direct flights to resume and easing travel for many families living abroad.
In his address, Asif emphasised that this development will improve connectivity for the over 1.6 million Pakistanis living in the UK and strengthen ties between the two countries. He called the step a “moral and national duty” to support the diaspora and restore travel links.
