Lahore: Pakistan captain Salman Agha won the toss and chose to bowl first in the third and deciding T20 International against South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The match is set to begin at 8:00 PM local time.

South Africa’s playing XI includes Reeza Hendricks, Quinton de Kock (wk), Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Dewald Brevis, Matthew Breetzke, Donovan Ferreira (c), George Linde, Corbin Bosch, Andile Simelane, Lizaad Williams, and Ottneil Baartman.

According to the pitch report, it’s a new surface but quite similar to yesterday’s wicket. Experts suggest that change of pace and shorter lengths will be key, while batters will need to use the crease smartly to counter the bowlers.

South Africa captain Donovan Ferreira said, “It’s important to start well with the bat and set the tone early. We have specific plans based on the surface and hope to execute them effectively tonight.”

Pakistan skipper Salman Agha stated that his team opted to bowl first considering the conditions and hopes to take early wickets to put pressure on the opposition.
