Lahore police have arrested a proclaimed offender involved in the murder of his grandfather three years ago.
According to police officials, Kahna police station SHO Faheem Imdad, along with his team, conducted an operation in Kachwana village and successfully traced and arrested the suspect. The arrest followed special directives issued by DIG Operations, who assigned ASP Kahna Fasi-ur-Rehman to lead the task.
Police stated that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between two related parties. During the altercation, the suspect, along with his accomplices, allegedly stormed the victim’s house.
The victim, identified as Juma Khan, sustained critical head injuries after being struck with a wooden stick and bricks. He later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Police said the accused, Ali Khubaib, had gone into hiding to evade arrest after the incident. The suspect has now been handed over to the investigation wing for further legal proceedings.
