Islamabad — Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the Constitution of Pakistan should not be tampered with for political gains, stressing that any attempt to undermine it could destabilize the country’s democratic foundations.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Fazlur Rehman said the Constitution represents the collective will of the people and serves as the foundation of the state’s stability. He urged political leaders to resolve disputes through dialogue and mutual respect rather than through constitutional manipulation.
The JUI-F chief also emphasized the need for national unity, saying that respecting constitutional boundaries is essential for maintaining order and public trust in governance.
