A measles outbreak has been reported in Kasur district of Punjab.
According to Rescue sources, eight children were affected by the measles outbreak in the nearby village of Talwandi on Depalpur Road and were shifted to a local hospital.
Sources said that children across the village had not been given measles prevention drops and injections. After an examination by a team of doctors, all affected children were admitted to the hospital.
The health department has been informed about the situation, and its team will conduct another check-up of the affected village tomorrow.
