A major controversy has shaken the Miss World 2025 pageant after British contestant Milla Magee publicly spoke out about what she described as deeply inappropriate treatment during the event held in India.
In an interview with British media, the 24-year-old beauty queen alleged she was treated in a degrading manner during her stay. “I was treated like a prostitute,” Magee claimed. “I was forced to spend the entire day with wealthy, middle-aged men as if I were some form of entertainment for them.”
Magee further expressed her disillusionment with the pageant, stating, “I came to participate in a respectable competition, not to be someone’s amusement or pastime. Even in a pageant like Miss World, there should be some moral boundaries.”
Unable to endure the situation, Magee said she made the decision to withdraw from the competition and returned to the UK immediately.
Her shocking revelations have sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many users expressing concern and condemning the alleged treatment of women at high-profile events in India. So far, Miss World organizers and Indian event authorities have not issued an official response to the allegations.
The incident has reignited discussions about ethics, safety, and the treatment of women in international beauty pageants.
