Rising star Nameer Khan, who recently gained acclaim for his role in the drama Qarz-e-Jaan, revealed during his appearance on the talk show Mazaq Raat that he has rejected 11 drama scripts since the show’s success. He shared that he is now focusing only on projects that offer strong narratives and a positive message.
“I’m at a point in my career where I want to be part of stories that make a difference,” Nameer said on the show. “I don’t want to be associated with scripts that spread negativity or have no emotional depth. If a story doesn’t inspire or uplift, it’s not for me.”
His statement has been widely appreciated by fans, who praised his dedication to quality storytelling and social responsibility. As audiences increasingly demand meaningful content, Nameer’s selective approach reflects a broader shift in Pakistani television towards purpose-driven drama.
Although he has not yet confirmed his next project, Khan mentioned that he is reviewing multiple offers. He assured fans that his next on-screen appearance will be “powerful, meaningful, and worth the wait.”
