The results of the wrestling competitions at the 35th National Games have been announced, and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Inam Butt has once again proved his dominance by winning another gold medal.
With this victory, Inam Butt has now become 18-time national champion, a remarkable record in Pakistan wrestling. Pakistan Army’s Nauman Zaka claimed the silver medal, while Punjab’s Rana Faizan and Railways’ Haider Ali secured bronze medals.
In the 57 kg category, WAPDA’s Junaid Khan won gold, Punjab’s Faraz Khan took silver and Army’s Sabir Ali earned bronze.
In the 70 kg category, Punjab’s Abdullah bagged the gold medal, while in the 79 kg category, Army’s Asadullah emerged victorious.
On the opening day of the wrestling event, WAPDA won 2 gold medals, while Army and Punjab secured one gold each.

In football, teams from Pakistan Army, Navy, and Pakistan Air Force have qualified for the semi-finals of the National Games. The semi-finals will be played on December 10, while the final will take place on December 12.
At KPT Stadium Karachi, the match between Pakistan Navy and Sindh ended in a 1-1 draw. Navy’s Nauman and Sindh’s Waseem scored one goal each.

On the first day of women’s swimming events, Pakistan Army swimmers dominated by winning five gold medals, while Sindh secured one gold medal.
At the KMC Sports Complex swimming pool, Army swimmers Jahan Ara Nabi and Bisma Khan won two gold medals each.
In the medal table, Pakistan Army stood first with 5 gold and 1 bronze, while Sindh claimed second position with 1 gold and 3 silver medals.
