Netflix has officially released the much-awaited trailer for Dining with the Kapoors, inviting viewers to join the legendary Bollywood family for an intimate and heart-warming lunch on November 21.
This one-hour special brings together the Kapoor family to honour Raj Kapoor on his 100th birth anniversary, celebrating a century of cinematic legacy that has shaped Indian cinema. Created by Armaan Jain and directed by Smriti Mundhra — known for Indian Matchmaking, The Romantics and Never Have I Ever — the special offers a rare, fly-on-the-wall glimpse into Bollywood’s first film family.
From playful teasing to deep emotional reflections, the documentary captures the Kapoors at their warmest and most unfiltered, united by their shared love for storytelling, tradition — and of course, food.
The special features Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Rima Jain, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Aadar Jain, and many more, making it a once-in-a-generation reunion.
Director Smriti Mundhra says the project feels like a homecoming:
“Telling a story about family and legacy in a fast-paced world feels special. The Kapoors aren’t just a Bollywood dynasty — they’re the kind of family anyone would want to sit with: close-knit, fun, and obsessed with food.”
Dining with the Kapoors premieres on November 21, exclusively on Netflix.
