In Khanewal, Punjab, a suspected police encounter took place in the Haveli Koranga area. One robber was killed by gunfire, reportedly from his own accomplices, while the others escaped.
Police identified the dead suspect as Sarwar alias Saro Baloch, who was wanted in more than a dozen cases of robbery, theft, and other serious crimes, according to Dunya News.
The body was sent to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kabirwala for post-mortem. Police teams have been formed to arrest the escaped suspects.
