The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the national squads for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka and the T20I tri-nation series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe.

Right-handed batter Hasan Nawaz has been released from the national squad to participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan’s premier first-class competition, which enters its seventh round on November 11.

As a result, Fakhar Zaman has been included in the T20I squad in place of Hasan Nawaz, while no replacement has been named for the ODI lineup.

The Men in Green recently wrapped up a successful home series against South Africa, which served as valuable preparation for the upcoming contests. Pakistan triumphed in both the T20I and ODI series, taking the latter 2–1, while the Test series concluded in a 1–1 draw.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be staged at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on November 11, 13, and 15.

Historically, the two sides have met 157 times in ODIs, with Pakistan winning 93 matches, Sri Lanka 59, while four games ended without a result and one was tied.

Following the ODI series, Zimbabwe will join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the T20I tri-nation series, commencing on November 17.
The first two matches will take place in Rawalpindi, before the action shifts to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for the remaining fixtures, including the final on November 29.
