Pakistan has officially revealed its squad for the upcoming U19 Asia Cup, with Farhan Yousuf appointed as the team captain, while Sarfaraz Ahmed will serve as the manager and mentor.
The squad also includes Abdul Subhan, Ahmed Hussain, Ali Hasan Baloch, Ali Raza, Daniyal Ali Khan, Hamza Zahoor, and Huzaifa Ahsan.
Additionally, Momin Qamar, Muhammad Huzaifa, Muhammad Siyam, Muhammad Shayan, Naqab Shafiq, and Sameer Manhas have been named in the lineup.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Dubai from December 12 to December 21. Pakistan will open their campaign on December 12 against Qualifier 3 at the Sevens Stadium.
Their second and marquee group match will be held on December 14 against India at the ICC Academy. The final group fixture is set for December 16 against Qualifier 1.
The semi-final will be played on December 19, while the final is set for December 21.
In the support staff, Sarfaraz Ahmed will act as manager/mentor, with Shahid Anwar as head coach and batting coach, Rao Iftikhar as bowling coach, Mansoor Amjad as fielding coach, Abrar Ahmed as trainer, and Obaidullah (physio) along with Ali Hamza (analyst) completing the team setup.
