The Board of Investment (BOI), in collaboration with China Media Group, organized an event titled “Driving Innovation, Sharing Prosperity” focusing on the new vision for China-Pakistan economic partnership.
Federal Minister for Investment, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, attended the event as the chief guest. The gathering included economists, scholars, and industry experts, who discussed ways to enhance China-Pakistan economic cooperation.
Speaking at the event, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh emphasized the promotion of modern investment and an innovation-driven economy. He highlighted that facilitating ease of doing business for investors is a top priority of the government.
Chairman of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce also addressed the audience, while ICCI President Sardar Tahir Mehmood praised BOI’s initiatives in promoting investment.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh noted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, investment-friendly policies are being implemented. He added that reforms are ongoing through the Business Facilitation Centre and the Ease of Doing Business Act to further encourage investment.
The Board of Investment, under Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh’s leadership, reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening economic cooperation between Pakistan and China.
