The Pakistan Navy, with the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) and Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Centre (JMICC), seized a large quantity of drugs from the Arabian Sea near Pasni.
According to Dunya News, he haul included about 1,100 kg of hashish, 50 kg of meth (Ice), and 100 kg of heroin, worth around 38 million dollars in the international market. The drugs were being smuggled through sea routes to other countries.
The consignment was handed over to ANF for legal action. The Navy said this shows its strong commitment to stopping illegal trafficking and protecting Pakistan’s sea borders.
An ANF official said the force spends nearly 14 million dollars each year to stop and destroy drug shipments worth about 6 billion dollars.
