Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a high-level meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Monday, ahead of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9).
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, according to the PM’s Office, and covered a range of mutual interest topics including trade, investment, energy cooperation and regional issues.
Sharif is leading a high-level Pakistani delegation which includes key ministers and aides.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic ties and said they will ensure more frequent high-level contacts.
