Pakistani rapper Talha Anjum sparked a wave of debate online after he was seen waving the Indian flag during a concert in Nepal, an act that quickly went viral across social media. The gesture was interpreted by many attendees as a symbol of friendship and harmony, while fellow Young Stunners member Talha Younus waved the Nepali flag to acknowledge the host country’s audience. Videos from the event showed the crowd responding with loud cheers.

The incident, however, led to divided reactions on the internet. Supporters praised the rappers for promoting peace and using music to bridge political divides, especially between Pakistan and India. Critics from Pakistan questioned the move, calling it inappropriate and unnecessary, arguing that public figures should be more cautious with symbols that carry political significance. Indian fans reacted more positively, describing the moment as unexpectedly warm.

Despite the growing discussion, neither Talha Anjum nor Talha Younus has issued an official statement about the matter. The duo was performing in Nepal as part of their international tour, and the flag gesture became the most widely shared highlight from the show. Fans continue to debate whether the act was a simple message of unity or an avoidable controversy.
