Islamabad — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to review the internal security and law and order situation across the country.
According to sources, the two leaders held a detailed discussion on counterterrorism efforts, the overall security landscape, and key measures being taken to maintain peace and stability.
Interior Minister Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on recent developments related to internal security. The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Interior Ministry and its team in ensuring the safety of citizens.
“The protection of life and property, upholding the rule of law, and eliminating terrorism remain the top priorities of the government,” said PM Shehbaz during the meeting.
He directed the Interior Minister to continue implementing coordinated and effective strategies to ensure the safety and security of the people.
