A major decision has been announced by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council regarding the transfer of teachers.
According to the PMDC decision, faculty members of private medical colleges are now allowed to transfer to another college without an NOC. For the transfer of faculty members of private colleges, a copy of their resignation must be provided.
The decision states that the faculty member must submit the offer letter of the new private medical and dental college along with an affidavit. Under the previous policy, an NOC from the former private medical and dental college was mandatory. The new PMDC faculty transfer policy has been issued and will be implemented from next year.
On the other hand, the NOC requirement remains in place for transfers in government medical and dental colleges, and obtaining an NOC is necessary when leaving a government medical or dental college.
