The Punjab government has issued an alert regarding unsafe medicines.
Specific batches of tablets used during pregnancy complications in women and injections used for muscle growth have been declared unsafe.
Instructions have been issued to immediately remove the batches of the relevant medicines from the market.
According to the alert, the batches have been declared unsafe by drug testing laboratories in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Karachi and Lahore.
