In a significant operation in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab Police has neutralized four terrorists. The operation was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of foreign militants in the border areas.
According to a police spokesperson, a cordon was set up in the area, and when the terrorists opened fire on the police, a swift retaliatory action resulted in the elimination of the militants. Arms and ammunition, including explosives, were recovered from the site.
The spokesperson confirmed that four foreign militants were killed in the encounter, while others managed to escape. Police teams are still searching the border areas for the remaining terrorists.
Efforts are underway to examine the past records of the deceased militants to assess their involvement in previous terrorist activities.
As per the reports, the police are intensifying their operations to track down the fleeing terrorists and ensure the area remains secure.
