Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has confirmed that Grade 8 assessment exams will be held across the province, covering four subjects over a period of four days. The announcement was made through a social media update, where he reaffirmed the government’s plan to conduct standardized assessments for middle-grade students.
Hayat added that the smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 will be released next week. This comes after the smart syllabus for Grades 9 and 10 was recently uploaded on the official websites of all education boards, as well as the School Education Department.
According to the minister, these initiatives are part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to streamline the academic process, lessen student workload, and strengthen the evaluation system in Punjab.
Further details regarding the exam schedule and syllabus are expected soon as the province moves toward a more structured academic framework.
