Renowned spiritual scholar Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi Mujaddidi passed away on December 14 at the age of 72. He was born on April 1, 1953, in Jhang, Punjab.
He was a leading figure of the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi order and was widely respected for his teachings on Islamic scholarship, Sufism, and spiritual reform. He was also the founder of Jamia Mahad ul Faqir al Islami in Jhang.
Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad had been suffering from a kidney-related illness. Tributes have poured in from scholars, students, and followers around the world, while funeral arrangements are a waited.
