Mumbai – Bollywood’s celebrated on-screen pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, are set to share the big screen once again in their upcoming film King, marking their sixth collaboration.
The announcement was made on social media by both actors, sparking excitement among fans. Padukone, who recently exited the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD, shared a photo with Khan on Instagram, writing that her co-star had taught her a valuable lesson 18 years ago during the making of Om Shanti Om.
“Shah Rukh showed me that the people you create a film with matter more than the success of the film itself,” Padukone wrote. “I couldn’t agree more, and that’s why we’re making our sixth film together.”
Padukone made her Bollywood debut opposite Khan in Om Shanti Om (2007), directed by Farah Khan, which became a major box-office success and cemented her career in the industry. Since then, the duo has worked together in several blockbusters, including Chennai Express and Pathaan.
While King has been officially confirmed, further details about the storyline, cast, and release date are yet to be revealed.
