New Delhi – The two assailants who opened fire outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s home have been kill-ed in a police encounter in Ghaziabad, Indian media reported.
According to police, the shooting took place around 4:30 a.m. on September 12 in the Civil Lines area of Bareilly, where multiple gunshots were fired at the actress’s residence. Patani and her family were at home during the attack but escaped unharmed.
The incident was later claimed by the gang of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, which has been linked to several high-profile crimes in India.
Police confirmed that the two suspects involved in the attack were killed during an encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Sunday. They were identified as Ravinder, a resident of Rohtak, and Arun, from Sonipat.
Authorities said the men were part of a notorious international crime syndicate. A large cache of weapons was recovered from their possession, including a Glock pistol, a Zigana pistol, and multiple rounds of ammunition
