Two new cases of polio have been reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of cases this year to 21.
According to the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC), the new cases have been detected in Lower Kohistan district and Badin district.
The statement added that a special nationwide anti polio campaign will begin on September 1st. Polio is an incurable disease, and only vaccination can provide protection.
