Karachi: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic building collapse in the Lyari area of Karachi.
In an official statement, Jane Marriott extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the incident, calling it “a moment of grief and solidarity.”
She also paid tribute to the rescue workers, commending their efforts in such difficult circumstances.
It is worth noting that 27 bodies have been recovered so far from the debris of the collapsed building in Lyari’s Baghdadi area, two days after the incident.
